This publication shows:
1) the decontamination efficacy of AmbiJet on many different, periimplantitis-relevant bacteria,
2) repetitive applications do NOT lead to bacterial resistance,
3) AmbiJet works under anaerobic conditions, which is important for non-surgical, minimal-invasive application.

Plasma effectively killed 10⁶ seeded aerobic and anaerobic bacteria after an application time of 1 min per 10 mm².

Our latest publication was peer-reviewed and published in a journal for dentistry. In this review article we analysed the dental market, focusing on the three most challenging dental diseases, including infections caused by dental implants: Periimplantitis. The computed values show that the treatment need for peri-implantitis follows an exponential growth!
